Event Route

In this 10th Edition 2026 of the Desert Trophy Panda, to celebrate our 10th anniversary in a fun and unique way, we will have:

* 2 Navigation Stages with Track Following
* 2 Orientation Stages with WP Capture
* 2 Navigation Stages with WP Following

All stages will be without a Roadbook, where the GPS or any cartographic navigation app will be our only support to cross Morocco from North to South.

As a novelty, in the 2 Navigation Stages with Track Following, we will provide a real track for 80% of the Special, and for the remaining 20%, only an imaginary track will be available. This final segment will connect a series of mandatory waypoints (WPs), which participants must pass through while covering the shortest possible distance.

Planned Timing:

* Administrative and Technical Verifications, will take place at the Hotel Barceló Cabo de Gata in Almería on Friday, February 13th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday, February 14th, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

* The General Briefing will be held on Saturday, February 14th, onboard the ferry departing directly from Almería to Nador.

* Boarding is scheduled for Saturday, February 14th at 1:00 PM, from the Port of Almería.

* The Official Start of Stage 1 will take place on Sunday, February 15th at 8:00 AM.

Verification and ferry times may be subject to changes depending on the final schedules set by the ferry companies when they release their winter 2026 schedule.
