PRESENTATION
Instructions for completing the boat ticket and hotel reservations.
To formalize the reservation of boat tickets and hotels, it is important to have at hand the Passports of all participants and the vehicle's Driving License and to take into account the following information:
BOAT BOOKINGS:
The rates offered are PER ROUTE AND TYPE OF ACCOMODATION AND VEHICLE.
*** SPECIAL OFFER MAROC CHALLENGE WINTER EDITION:
ONE WAY SPECIAL CHARTER BOAT ALMERIA/NADOR. The Organization has closed an agreement with the shipping company ARMAS/TRASMEDITERRANEA, to charter an exclusive charter boat for the Maroc, departing from Almeria on Friday November 29 at 18:00h. and arriving in Nador at 24.00h.
RETURN REGULAR BOAT /NADOR/ALMERIA. The Organization has blocked exclusively for the participants of the Maroc, the regular boat of shipping comany ARMAS/TRASMEDITERRANEA, departing from Nador on Saturday December 7 at 23.30h. and arriving in Almeria on Sunday December 8 at 07.00h.
Both crossings are at night and we offer the option to travel in a BOOTH, DOUBLE CAMAROT or QUADROUPLE CAMAROT (Attention, quadruple cabin shared with any other team participating in the Maroc. If you wish to share with a particular team, you must reflect that option in the Observations section when making the cabin reservation).
In addition to this Special Boat option, there is the option of traveling from Algeciras on the regular line of the shipping company ARMAS/TRASMEDITERRANEA and with a special rate, with the following schedules available.
ONE WAY ALGECIRAS/TANGER MED. Regular line of the shipping company ARMAS/TRASMEDITERRANEA, with departures on Thrusday November 28 at 08:00h, 11:15h, 14:00h, 17:30h, and 21:30h (OPEN TICKET) and Friday December 29 (exclusively at 08:00h).
RETURN TANGER MED/ALGECIRAS. Regular line of the shipping company ARMAS/TRASMEDITERRANEA, with departures on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December at 04:00h, 11:00h, 14:00h, 18:30h and 22:00h (OPEN TICKET).
Any modification to the boat reservation once confirmed and paid, and before 5 days of the reservation date, entails a minimum management fee of €30. After those 5 days, the management fee may increase depending on the rates of each boat trip and the associated costs imposed by the shipping company.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS:
The rates offered for the Hotels/Bivouac, are PER ROOM or HAIMA, except for the rate of ONLY HALF BOARD without Haima in the Bivouac, which is per person.
In each city, we have selected several hotels of different categories, but all with a minimum quality standard for the Maroc. The hotel and bivouac reservations are always offered in HALF BOARD (Dinner and Breakfast).
Any modification to the hotel reservation once confirmed and paid, and before 10 days of the reservation date, entails a minimum management fee of €30. After those 10 days, the management fee may increase depending on the rates of each hotel.
RESERVATIONS OF HAIMAS STAGE 3 DECEMBER:
For the Special Stage of December 3, the Organization has planned a BIVOUAC LUXE in the desert of Tata, where participants can choose to spend the night between:
- HAIMA LUXE equipped with bed, comforter, towels, (shower and private indoor wc) and half board (dinner and breakfast).
- HAIMA STANDARD equipped with bed, comforter, towels, (outdoor collective shower and wc) and half board (dinner and breakfast).
- ONLY HALF BOARD (dinner and breakfast, with the right to use the showers and collective toilets). Option for participants who want to sleep in their own tent and do not reserve haima.
VERY IMPORTANT: In the Bivouac, it is mandatory to hire some kind of haima or at least half board, because for security reasons and mandate of the military authorities on the border with Algeria, all participants must be grouped in the area authorized by the Moroccan authorities.
BOOKING PROCEDURE:
All participants must complete the initial contact form, with all the data in CAPITAL LETTERS of each participant's PASSPORT and vehicle's DRIVING LICENSE and from there, you have to go through the application pages, pressing the green submit button, then selecting the hotel option chosen, the boat option chosen if applicable and finally pressing the green submit button. Once the booking is completed, the application displays a summary of the booking, press the green confirm button and you will automatically receive a Booking Confirmed message and an email with the confirmation PDF and payment instructions.
If you do not receive the email with the PDF of the reservation at the time of booking, please contact Sports Adventure (reservations@sports-adventure.es or +34 609292258), to verify if your reservation is correctly registered or not.
We kindly ask you to check all the data of your reservation and verify that they are correct, because the lists of tickets and hotels are obtained from these data and any error or inaccuracy in them, may cause inconveniences in the hotels, or invalidate or prevent the boarding.
FINAL CLOSING OF SHIP AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS: NOVEMBER 22ND
***IMPORTANT***. The contracting of these reservation services are made on an individual and isolated basis and are not part of a Combined Trip, but of the participation in a tourist/sporting adventure event in Morocco, organized by a third party company and subject to the Consumption, Cancellations and Refunds Policy of the Moroccan legislation. As such an adventure event to be held in Morocco, there is no option to contract a Cancellation Insurance with our company.
